What makes an AI-native ERP different
In most business software, AI was added later: a chat window next to the system, or a separate tool that works with exports. MintIQ, as an AI-native ERP, is built the other way around: the AI sits at the core. You set up the system with language, the agents work inside the system itself on live data, and everything they do is recorded.
AI alongside, or AI at the core
A smart layer on top of the system
- A chat window or separate tool next to the ERP
- Works with exports, or with what an integration passes on
- Gives advice, the acting stays with people
- A new process remains a configuration project
The AI is part of the system
- The assistant and the agents sit inside the system itself
- They work on the same live data as your people
- They act within the limits you set, and every action can be read back
- You describe a new rule or process step in plain language
The way you onboard a new colleague
An agent gets its own instructions, in plain language, and a list of actions it is allowed to take. Nothing more. It runs at a moment someone on your side switches on, for example when an email from a supplier comes in.
Everything an agent does can be read back, so you see which order it changed and why. If something is off, you adjust the instruction, just as you would correct a colleague.
What the AI in MintIQ already does today
Delay processed
A supplier emails that a delivery will be late. MintIQ reads the email, updates the date on the purchase order and flags the affected sales orders for the person responsible.
From drawing to request
An incoming email with a drawing or PDF becomes a draft request, with the questions that are still open.
Questions in plain language
A question about items, stock or orders is answered from your own data, without anyone making an export.
Your own start screen, made by asking for it
You create a page or report by saying what you want to see. That is possible because the AI in an AI-native ERP sits on the same data as your people. If you like it, you pin it to the start screen, and it stays up to date with the data in the system. Which pages someone sees depends on their role, so the warehouse manager starts the day with something different from the managing director.

Inside the system, and open to review
Even in an AI-native ERP, the AI stays inside the system. It does no work outside MintIQ and does not call customers or suppliers. You decide what an agent is allowed to do, you switch it on, and every action can be reviewed.
