Why I Built MintIQ

For over 15 years, I've worked with business software, primarily in ERP and warehouse management. And throughout that time, the same frustration kept coming back.

Systems that should make your work easier often make it more complicated instead.

Months-long implementations. Consultants who have to "translate" your processes. People working the way the system demands, instead of the other way around. And as soon as something changes — a new product, an extra location, a peak season — you're back to square one.

The result was always clearly visible. Companies stuck in spreadsheets and dozens of post-it notes in the warehouse. Thanks to software that was set up ten years ago and has barely been adapted to reality since.

And somewhere along the way, we started to accept that as normal.

But is it really that normal? Why do systems inevitably become more complex as they become more capable?

The answer lies in the design. Most systems are based on rules. For every situation, you have to determine in advance what the system should do. That works as long as reality is predictable — but a warehouse is not.

MintIQ works fundamentally differently. Instead of defining everything in advance, MintIQ understands the context of what is happening. The system recognizes patterns, learns from how your team works, and adapts accordingly. That means you don't have to model every exception before you can go live. The system moves with you automatically. And yes, this is made possible in part by AI technology.

Let me illustrate what this looks like in practice: If you want to start selling on a new channel, you can do it today — not in 3 months. Your team picks up the system without a manual, via voice, chat, or screen, in their own language. The system learns how you work and adapts. Without reconfiguration. Without consultants.

MintIQ is operations management software built to handle complexity without becoming complex itself.

The Honest Question

"Sounds great. But AI in a business-critical system — is that really reliable?"

Fair question. I come from the ERP world myself. I know there's no room for "approximately."

That's why we've spent the past year building the guardrails. Safety, transparency, and control. Deliberate choices about what AI does and doesn't do, and where humans always have the final say.

But don't take my word for it. Come experience it yourself. Throw your toughest process at it. Your wildest exceptions. And judge for yourself.

Where We're Heading

We believe that business software should understand you — not the other way around. Every step we take with MintIQ brings us closer to that goal.

We're starting on the warehouse floor. That's where the friction is greatest and the impact is felt the fastest. But our ambition doesn't stop there.

This is just the beginning.

Proud to launch MintIQ today. Come see for yourself!
